Hi Sandy, really enjoy looking at your sketches. You really are talented and these are inspirational to me as I sketch too. Just wondered what make of pen and sketchbook you use. thanks Kevin
Hi Kevin, thanks for the comment. They are all on Seawhite of Brighton concertina A5 sketchbooks. I’ve filled 50 and love them. The pens vary. I like the Stabilo Sensor F because it bleeds and the Faber Castell Pitt Artists pens if I want sepia. My favourite is 0.1 Staedler Pigment Liner. They don’t bleed, and don’t really have much character, which I like. Cheers. Sandy
That’s very kind, Anthony. Turned out they thought I was a critic scribbling away and were a bit worried as I looked so serious. You’re in comedy yourself? D’you rate them?
I was, but have left that game behind me. Used to attempt sketching in George Square in Glasgow but I was rotten at it. Yours are cool though. Vlad and Keir are both really nice blokes.
However I sadly read your comment about your visit in Vapiano, but I was fascinated how amazing the painting you made. Unfortunately we are to far from each other and I can’t invite you to recover our brand image (if you plan a visit to Budapest I would be more than happy to invite you for a dinner/lunch) but I congratulation by heart for your talented paintings and drawings.
I hate to read but loved to look and be rejoiced 🙂

There’s a wonderful painting of Adam Smith’s mother in the Kirkcaldy Galleries. When I saw it I realised that that’s who he looks like!
Ahh sandy I love your train drawings of the two trains put together
Sandy, Only just got round to looking at these sketches – they are brilliant.
Those drawings you did of the stand-up comedy are beautiful. I’m very jealous of your talent.
